High Performance/Altitude Tennis

Born and raised in Huntersville, NC, Coach Rob fell in love with the game of tennis at 7 years old. He competed in southern and national tournaments as a junior and ended up as a "blue chip" top college recruit. Coach Rob played #1 singles and doubles for national power, NC State and earned 3 All-ACC honors and earned a top 10 NCAA D1 national doubles ranking. After graduating and earning a Bachelors of Science in Sport Management, he played professionally on the ATP Tour, competing in Greece, Turkey, Finland, Mexico, Canada, and all over the United State. He earned a world doubles ranking of #634 and earned 5 ATP singles points.

As a coach, Rob has been developing high level talent for many years. Coach Rob worked at the Randy Pate Tennis Academy at LTP in Charleston, SC, one of the top junior development programs in the nation. From there, he moved back to Charlotte to become the Men’s Assistant College Coach for the UNC Charlotte 49ers! In 2018, Rob founded Altitude Tennis Academy which is now the top training program in North Charlotte/Lake Norman.

High Performance/Altitude Tennis

Ivan grew up in France and quickly became one of the top junior players in the country. By the 14U age group, Ivan was ranked as a Top 3 junior player in the country in his age group. Ivan competed internationally as a junior and played my elite tournaments. His biggest accomplisments include reaching the Quarterfinals of the Junior French Open as we as the Orange Bowl. Ivan’s junior career includes wins over top ATP Tour players Novak Djokovic, Juan Martin Del Potro, Marin Ciic, and Ernest Gulbis. Ivan attended D1 Mercer University on a full tennis scholarship.

As a coach, Ivan has extensive experience working with juniors and adults as well as managing facilities. He has worked as the Director of Academy at the John Drew Smith Tennis center, a 24 court facility in Macon, GA. Ivan was also the Director of Tennis for summer camps at Healy Point Country Club in Macon, GA as well as Pinewood Prep in Summerville, SC. He helped lead multiple USTA teams to win state championships in SC at the 3.0 and 4.0 level before moving to Huntersville to join Altitude Tennis Academy.
